The ring is is quality construction, made from 14ct rose gold with a solid band. It features vintage-style millegraining around the bezel and on the shoulders. The ring is resizeable.
The tanzanite was hand-picked by our team of gemmologists. It has not been subjected to heat treatments of any kind, and is in its natural state. The gem exhibits a natural phenomenon called pleochroism which is a physical property in which the gem appears to be different colours when viewed from different crystallographic directions. The dominant colour is blue, however there are flashes of green and violet as the ring moves in the light.
