Oval Natural Amethyst Gumdrop Ring in 9ct Gold

A 3.79ct oval natural amethyst is bezel-set in a 9ct yellow gold classic coloured stone solitaire style. The transverse bezel positions the gem across the finger, in a contemprary style.The amethyst measures 11x9mm. The ring is solid construction and has a decorative pierced jacket underneath.

The top has gemstone finishing technique called 'en cabochon' resulting in a smooth dome that rises out of the setting. The gemstone has been cut this way to bring out the vivid colour and texture of the amethyst.
