18ct Natural Emerald & Diamond Earrings

A pair of 3.5mm round brilliant-cut natural emeralds each surrounded by a halo of 12 round brilliant-cut diamonds are suspended by a diamond station from a pair of quarter-carat diamond studs.

Our client had a pair of diamond studs she had received years ago as a gift from her fiance and a pair of emerald studs that she had purchased herself, and wanted to repurpose them as a pair of drop earrings to wear on her wedding day. We suggested adding a new diamond between the top and bottom sections to lengthen the drop and improve the overall balance of the finished earrings.

The remodelling work took place in our Sydney workshop. The earrings appear here with the consent of the owner.
